Re: Can I apply for SSC CGL exam after completing 3 years in central government service? Yes, you are eligible to apply SSC Combined Graduate Level examination. SSC Stands for Staff Selection Commission. For apply SSC CGL exam the minimum Education qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University. The Upper age limit is relaxable upto the age of 40 years (45 years for SC/ST & 43 years for OBCs) to all Central Government Civilian Employees who have rendered not less than 3 years continuous. Central Government Civilian Employees would be required to submit a certificate (as per Annexure III) issued at the time of applying for the examination by their Office. |

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is an Indian government organization which will recruit staff members for the various posts in the various departments and ministries. Minimum qualification required to apply for this examination is completing a degree course from a recognized Institution. Age criteria:- 1. Sub Inspectors in CPOs – 20 years to 25 years 2. Assistant / Sub Inspector in CBI – 20 years to 27 years 3. Statistical Investigators – Maximum 26 years 4. For all other posts – 18 years to 27 years. |
