CDS stands for Combined Defence Services Exam. This exam is being conuducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) once in a year.

This exam is being conducted to recruit the candidates into the following defence services
Indian Military Academy
Indian Naval Academy
Indian Air Force Academy

One should have completed Graduation as the minimum academic qualification in order to apply for this Exam.

As you have completed only 12th class, if you really want to apply for this exam, you have to complete your Graduation.

Rather than doing so, there is a option for you to make entry into defence services soon after the completion of your 12th class itself.

For this you have to crack NDA Exam.

This Exam is being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year.

One can join any of the following defence wings by cracking this Exam.
Army wing
Navy wing
Air Force wing

The selection procedure would include
NDA Exam
Interview
Medical Test

To apply for Army wing, you should have completed your 12th class with any of the stream.

But to apply for Navy and Air Force wings, it is must that you should have completed your 12th class with Mathematics and Physics subjects.

Your age should be between 16.5 years to 19 years to apply for this Exam.

In addition, you should be an unmarried male candidate to apply for this Exam.

Have good preparation for this Exam and crack it.

Wish you all the best.
