 To join Indian Navy, you will have to appear for CDS examination. CDS examination is conducted by UPSC twice every year in the months of February and September. The eligibility criteria required for CDS examination are prescribed as below:- * Completion of graduation in science stream from any recognised college or university. * Age limit- 19-22 yrs. How To Get Into Indian Navy After the completion of your graduation..the best option to get into the Indian Navy is through the Combined Defence Services(CDS) which is conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) The CDS Exam is conducted in the months of February and September.. Indian Navy can be joined after completion of Graduation through CDS entrance exam. There is no percentage of marks required in Graduation for application to CDS. CDS - Combined Defence Service, the entrance erxam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year to join Indian Military Academy, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer,s Training Academy. The eligible candidate aspiring to join Indian Navy, must be an Indian unmarried male having either appear for the final Graduation Degree exam or pass with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised University within the age of 19 to 22 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.
