Eligibility for NDA since you have chosen arts..you are only eligible for applying for Indian Army.. you are not eligible for applying for the Indian Air Force or the Indian Navy for which you got to have PCM as your subjects in 12th.. the minimum eligibility criterion for appearing for NDA :- 1) you should be a 12th pass-out 2) you should be within the age limit of 16.5 - 19 years 3) you should be physically fit and should have a perfect eyesight.. first,you will have to clear the written exam,then you have to clear the interview and then you will have to clear the medical examination.. all the best.. ~Hope this helps..  ~With Warm Regards "Nitz" |

The NDA exam include mathematics as the main paper and you need to have mathematics as the main subject in higher secondary As you are a arts student you can get the detail idea of all the officer entry suited for you in the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in |

I think being ARTS student you can join ARMY wing.See the eligibility criteria given below: National Defence Academy Examination : Educational Qualification: (i) For Army wing of National Defence Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University. (ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University. Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination. For more details:www.upsc.gov.in |
