The maximum age limit for candidates belonging to OBC category is 33 years. The maximum age limit for candidates belonging to general category is 30 years. |

This exam is conducted in the two step. 1. Preliminary exam. 2. Main exam. Some important information for IES exam is given below: A) Eligibility Criteria: 1. A candidate must have a engineering degree from a recognize university in the discipline of electrical, electronics, civil, mechanical engineering. 2. The final year student of engineering are also eligible for this exam. B) Age Criteria: 1. for general category the age must be between 21 to 30 years at the time of filling the form. 2. For SC/ST student the upper age relaxation is 5 years. 3. For OBC student the upper age relaxation is 3 years and for PD candidate the upper age relaxation is 10 years. Indian Engineering Services (IES) exam is conducted by UPSC in every year. The age criteria of IES exam : 1. For general category student the age betweem 21 to 30 years. The upper age relaxation for SC/ST candidate is 5 years. 2. For OBC student the upper age relaxation is 3 years and 10 years for PH candidate. Indian Engineering Services(IES) exam also known as engineering exam. It is conducted by UPSC for selecting engineers for the public sector. You shld hv age between 21 to 30 years on the 1st august of the year of examination. No of times a student can appear for IES exam is as follows: General-4, OBC-7, SC/ST- No restriction Relaxation in age:- SC/ST--- 5 years. OBC--- 3 years. Handicaped-- 10 years. |
