~~~BE in Chemical and ME in Petroleum~~~
Dear frend,
As you have got less marks in AIEEE and you like to join for Petroleum engineering.
Dont be upset there are some colages that offer BE in petroleum sum are as below.
1 Aryabhat knoledge camp, Bihar.
2 Bhagwat institute of technolgy, Rajasthan.
3 Dibrugar technical collage, UtteraKhand.
4 Indian schools of mines, Jharkhand.
You may opt for Petroleum stream in this collages if you get admission beter and good else you can persue your BE in Chemical and leter you can do ME in Petroleum.
A person with BE in Chemical can do ME in Petroleum after cracking GATE.
Yes you can complete your B.E in chemical and then go for Petroleum Engineering.
P.E is really having a very good scope in future.
in chemical engineering 4th year you will be offered Petroleum Engineering related subjects as electives like Petroleum Refinery Engineering, Petrochemical Technology.
so you can select them in B.E and then crack the GATE exam.
you can then do your M.tech in your favorite college in P.E.
this is the link where you can find Petroleum engineering syllabus;It's just a reference;
Re: How to do Petroleum Engineering? Can I do B.E in Chemical Engineering?
Hello freinds,
To become a chemical engineer one should have a graduate degree (B.E / B.Tech) or postgraduate degree (M.E) in Chemical Engineering.
There are both degree as well as diploma courses. One can go for the 3 year diploma course after the 10th standard (SSC).
The basic eligibility criteria for a BE / B.Tech is 10+2 or equivalent examination, with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
Thank you
