Re: Is it necessary to crack IIT JEE to get into Architecture? Sir I'm going to an iit coaching but I want to become an architect so should I be able to become a good architect by just clearing nata or aieee or I should clear jee advance to become a best architect so should I continue the coaching or not . waiting for your reply |

Re: Is it necessary to crack IIT JEE to get into Architecture? i want to know ki if jee mains ke paper 1 main rank nhi aata tohh kyaa main jee mains ke paper 2 ke exam ke liye eligible nhi hu i mean ki maine dono exam diye hai and abhi tk ek ka resultt aa gyaa hai that is paper1 but i m confused ki paper 2 ka result nhi aaya jo ki b.arch kaa haii andmujhe kaise ptaa chalega ki mera no aaya hai yaa nhi usmain |

Re: Is it necessary to crack IIT JEE to get into Architecture? IS MAINS PAPER 2 MARKS ARE ONLY FOR GETTING ADMISSIONS IN NITS AND OTHER COLLEGES. I WANT TO STUDY ARCHITECTURE IN IIT KPG OR RORKEE. THEN TO GET SEAT IN IIT,IS IT NECESSARY TO CRACK NATA EXAM. THEN WHAT IS AAT(ARCHITECTURE APTITUDE TEST). THE ONE WHO GOT MORE THAN CUTOFF IN MAINS PAPER2 ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO WRITE AAT.(WHICH IS CONDUCTED BY IIT). |

You will have these subjects only: Aptitude Test Drawing Mathematics For doing B.Arch from any reputed college, you must give entrance exams like NATA, AIEEE(Engineering/Architecture/Pharmacy), etc. So, it is not necessary for you to crack IIT-JEE exam for getting admission in B.Arch Course. |

It is not necessary to crack IIT JEE for admission in architecture field. You must think about AIEEE Paper 2 for B.Arch. This paper do not contain physics or chemisty but you must study them for 12th board for completing eligibility criteria. It contains Mathematics, apptitude test and drawing. Yes you have to the following things very well which are .. 1. Planning 2. Drawing 3. Mathematics 4. No , you do not need to do maths,physics, chemistry, that is for b.tech. for doing b.arch from iit you need to practice freehand drawing, Geometrical drawing , Three-dimensional perception , Imagination and aesthetic sensitivity , Architectural awareness for aptitude test .maths is same for b.tech and b.arch . but cut off is less than that of for b.tech . iit bombay ,kanpur and kharakpur provide b.arch facility . various other colleges are there for b.arch through aieee i.e. spa delhi, spa bhopal , are two other good colleges . |
