Some of the civil services will be Indian Administrative Service Indian Police Service Indian Foreign Service etc. In order to be place in any of these civil services, UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) will be conducting common written exam. The complete selection procedure would include CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test) Civil Services Main Exam Interview Here is the eligibility criteria that is required for the candidates to apply for this Exam. Academic Qualification : One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university. Age criteria : Candidates of General category should be in the age group of 21-30 years. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 3 years for the candidates of OBC category. Relaxation in upper age limit upto 5 years for the candidates of SC or ST category. Number of attempts : For General category : Maximum of 4 times For OBC category : Maximum of 7 times For SC or ST category : No limit on number of attempts. If you possess the above mentioned eligibility criteria, then you can have good preparation for this Exam and crack it. wish you all the best. |

Dear user IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service and to become an IAS officer, one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Exam, conducted by UPSC once every year. Eligibility Criteria The candidate must be an Indian National. Should have either appeared for the final Graduation Degree exam or passed in any stream of education from a recognised University. To become an IAS(Indian Administrative Service) officer, one has to apply, appear and crack Civil Service Examination conducted every year by UPSC. Fee is Rs. 100 For PCS you need to be a graduate in any discipline. Your age should be between 21-35 years. minimum height should be 5'7"( male) and 5'3" (female) |
