Re: What are the jobs in Army after my graduation in B.A? You can join Indian Army through CDS exam after your Graduation in B.A. CDS stand for Combined Defence Service. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts this CDS Exam twice a year – in February and August – to admit cadets to the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, and the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai. For apply Indian Military Academy and Officers Training Academy candidate should be complete Graduation degree in any stream from a recognised university. For Indian Military Academy age should be between 19 years to 22 years. For Officers Training Academy age should be between 19 years to 25 years. In this exam there is no age relaxation. |

Re: What are the jobs in Army after my graduation in B.A? Yes, you can join to army by qualifying CDS exam. Graduates below 24 years of age can apply. Percentage of marks obtained in degree is not a restriction. English, general knowledge and basic mathematics are asked for CDS exam. UPSC conducts the exam two times a year, in the months of February and August. |

Re: What are the jobs in Army after my graduation in B.A? For your qualification there is only one way to get into Indian Army and that is Combined Defence Service Examination. The CDS Examination is conducted by UPSC twice a year generally. Although the examination is conducted for other wings of defence too but your qualification suits to Indian Military Academy and Officers' Training Academy only. There is no percentage restriction for this examination. A graduate with any percentage of marks is eligible for the exam. The upper age limit for Indian Military Academy is 24 years and for Officers' Training Academy it is 25 years. There will be three papers in the examination. Paper-I English Paper-II General Knowledge Paper-III Elementary Mathematics If you apply for only Officers' Training Academy then Paper-III won't be there in the exam.
