STEPS ->Educational 1.For Bachelor programme in psychology - 10+2 2.For Post graduate courses in psychology - Bachelor degree in psychology 3.For Ph.D./ M.Phil - PG or Diploma in psychology ->Duration 1.Graduation in psychology is a 3 year programme. 2.Post graduation is of 2 years duration and during the course, specialization in a special 3.branch of psychology is possible. 4.M.Phil or Ph.D. is of 2 year duration. Personal Skills 1.Good communication skills, patience, ability to work with all kinds of social/ cultural and age groups are the essential qualities of a psychologist. 2.They should have a genuine interest in people, their behaviour and have empathy for their problems. 3.They have to be sensitive and caring and also have the ability to understand people of very different backgrounds and upbringing. thank u..!! all the best..!! |

Re: How to take Psychology course after completing 12th commerce? The basic eligibility criteria to study B.Sc in psychology is that you should have minimum 50% of marks at 10+2 level and you should be a science student. So commerce students cannot apply for this subject. Sorry about that. |
