Re: Is GLA university in Mathura approved by AICTE? AICTE approval is given to technical institutes and not to universities. GLA is a University which has been established wide Act no.21 of 2010 of the government of Uttar Pradesh. It is a university approved by University Grants Commission. Which means that is empowered to award degrees as specified by the UGC under section 22 of the UGC Act 1956 through its main campus with the approval of statutory bodies /councils, wherever required. |
