It is conducted in June and December. To preparation of NET exam read reference books. The best one is Geography by R. Gupta. Spend more time in study. Solve previous question papers . Do study well. ------------------------ This examination is Conducted by UGC twice in a year and the examination is Conducted in June and December Every year to determine eligibility for lectureship and for award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). For this year June NET Examination was already completed and the December NET Examination will conducted on 24/Dec/2011. To apply for NET Examination you have to complete your Post graduate degree course from a recognised University and you have to scored minimum 55% Marks in your Post graduation. Final year appearing candidates are also eligible to apply for NET Examination. If you have completed your Post graduate degree course then you are eligible to apply for NET Examination Next year in the month of June 2012. The examination fees of NET is Rs 450 and you have to pay the fees through challan form in SBI Bank and then you are eligible to fill the online application form of NET. There are 3 papers in NET Examination and all are conducted in same day in 2 session and there are 2 papers of Objective type in 1st session and 1 paper of descriptive in 2 session, You have to choose the subjects in NET Examination on the basis of Post graduation, So please wait for the Notification and then apply for NET Examination.
