Re: How to check tentative rank for GATE? hii to check tentative rank for GATE Formula For GATE Score is as given 1000/150[Ag+Sg{(m-a)/s}] Where m = marks obtained by the candidate. a = average of marks of all candidates who appeared in the paper mentioned on this scorecard in GATE for that year s = standard deviation of marks of all candidates who appeared in the paper mentioned on this scorecard in GATE for that year = global average of marks of all candidates who appeared across all papers and years (2005-2008) = global standard deviation of marks of all candidates who appeared across all papers and years (2005-2008) you can get all information regarding GATE at this site: http://www.onestopgate.com/ the rank depends on the top mark. It depend on the no of student appearing on the exam and how much u scored and highest marks in ur stream you have to wait till the result gets announced till 15thy march 2011 good luck |
