Re: Best book for preparation of General Knowledge for BOB clerk exam? Dear, According to me - Magazines: You should refer Pratiyogita Darpan magazine. If you get time you can refer other magazines too but Pratiyogita Darpan contains most of the topics. GK book/Guide: The newspaper and magazines will cover mostly current affairs. For other part of GK i.e. History, Geography etc. you should refer a good GK guide. Uphar prakashan and Kiran Prakashan gK guides are good. Thanks. All the best. |

If you want to prepare General knowledge you will have to take help from at least two-three sources or more. 1. Newspaper: You should go through a national newspaper daily. Try to extract all the current affairs from the newspaper and note them in your notebook. Choose a newspaper according to your compatibility. The Times of India english daily would a standard choice. Also Employment News weekly contains some useful GK topics. 2. Magazines: You should refer Pratiyogita Darpan magazine. If you get time you can refer other magazines too but Pratiyogita Darpan contains most of the topics. 3. GK book/Guide: The newspaper and magazines will cover mostly current affairs. For other part of GK i.e. History, Geography etc. you should refer a good GK guide. Uphar prakashan and Kiran Prakashan gK guides are good. 4. Internet: If Internet is accessible for you then you can utilize it for your purpose in any way.
