Hello.

To become a CBI Officer you need to fulfill the criteria listed below:-

You should have completed graduation from a recognized university.
Paper 1st is of General ability of 2 hours.(200 marks).
-Numerical.
-General Awareness.
-General ability.
Paper 2nd is of English of 2 hours.( 200 marks).
-Language comprehension and communication.

Hey There,

CBI stands for Central Bureau of Investigation.

First of all, I would like to inform you that to join CBI, you will have to appear in CGPE (Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination) exam.

CGPE (Combined Graduate Preliminary Examination) is conducted by SSC (Staff Selection Board) every year.

The eligibility criteria required for CBI exam are mentioned below:-

1. Completion of graduation in any stream from any recognised university.

2. Age limit- 20-27 years.

3. Age Relaxation- 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.

4. Nationality- Indian.

Yes you can become an CBI agent. Generally high school qualification or graduate will be sufficient to write the exam. you have to focuss on the exam conducted for that, here is the information about exam-

for joining CBI student must sit and score well in Combined Graduate Level Exam which is conducted by staff selection commission for recruitment of assistant, Sub-Inspector in CBI,and for income tax officer etc.

Educational qualification to join CBI is candidate must have bachelors degree from a recognised university.
CBI recruits Sub-inspectors through the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), which publishes its recruitment notice in Employment News and other leading dailies.

How to become a CBI officer -

To become a CBI officer, then you have to appear the exams conducted by UPSC. And This exams is held generally once a year for the post of Sub-Inspectors of Police in Central Bureau of Investigation and the application forms and other particulars are published in the Employment News in the month of October.

Eligiblity -*

If you have completed your bacholar degree, then you are eligible for appear in this exams. But your age is between 20 to 25 years.

A graduation from a renowned University is the qualification required for a CBI officer. The age limit ranges from 20-27 years. The SSC conducts a test for recruiting CBI officers. Minimum marks required to appear for the test is 50% marks in graduation. Written test and Physical test is also there for the selection.

Crime Branch CBI (Central bureau of Investigation) is a specialized wing in many state police forces in India of their Criminal Investigation Department .

Other branches of the CBI are

* State Crime Investigation Bureau
* Finger Print Bureau
* and Scientific Section.

To join in CBI you need to write the CGPE EXAM conducted by UPSC...!!
and minimum qualification for that is to be Graduate..
for that you need to have good physical strength also like any armed force..

For CBI you need to be satisfied with below criteria.

Central bureau of Investigation i.e CBI is Government undertaking best Inquiring Agencies in India.

Educational Qualification :-

You age must be lie in between 18 to 27 years For Inspectors or CE and Div. Acctts or Auditors or UDCs,20 to 27 years for Assistant Grade & SIs in CBI and 20 to 25 years for SIs in CPOs

Pattern Of the Exam consists of Part I and Part II

In part I it consist of Paper I and Paper II which is of 400 Marks Total.General Test is 200 marks and English Language is of 200 Marks.

In Part II it consists of Interview which is of 100 Marks Total.
