Re: How can I join Indian Army after passing 12th in commerce stream You don't need to complete your Graduation in order to be eligible to apply for Indian Army. Even on the basis of 12th class as the highest academic qualification also, you are eligible to join Indian Army. For this you should have to crack NDA Exam. This exam is being conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) twice a year. After getting through the written exam, you need to crack Interview and medical test also to be placed in Indian Army. Candidates who have completed 12th class with any of the stream are eligible to apply for this exam to join Army wing. Some other additional criteria is, -The candidate nationality should be India. -The candidate should be unmarried male candidate to apply for this exam. Female candidates are not eligible to apply for this exam. The required age criteria for the candidates will be 16 1/2 years to 19 years. If you possess the above mentioned age criteria, my suggestion for you would be to apply for upcoming NDA Exam. If you cross the above mentioned age criteria, then you can apply for CDS Exam (Combined Defence Services ) Exam through which you can join IMA (Indian Military Academy). Have good preparation for the respective Entrance Exam and crack it. Wish you all the best. |

After 12th, you can join National Defence Academy for which you have to appear in NDA entrance test conducted by Union Public Service Commission(UPSC). National Defence Academy ____________________________ NDA entrance occurs for two times in a year. These exam are held as NDA I & NDA II. AGE limit for NDA: Age should be with in 16.5 to 19 years. Gender: Male_Unmarried Nationality: Indian Physical criteria: _You must be physical & mentally sound. Visual standard :  Notification NDA_I Exam Examination is over. Important Dates for NDA-II Exam 2013 : • Date of Notification : 04/05/2013 • Last Date to apply : 03/06/2013 (Monday) • Commencement of Examination : 11/08/2013 (Sunday) Application Procedure for NDA: You can apply for NDA Exam 2012 in an Online Application mode Online. Re: How can I join Indian Army after passing 12th in commerce stream If you want to Join Indian Army just after passing class 12th, than you have to apply for the UPSC NDA exams. Eligibilty for the NDA exams is 12th pass for the Army wing 12th pass with Phy and Maths as subjects for the Airforce and Navy wing Age- Minimum 16.5 years Maximum 19 years Notification will come out on 4th May 2013 for the next NDA exams Next NDA exams will be held on 11th August 2013 After Completion of your B.COM to join Indian Army, you have to give the UPSC conducted CDS exams Eligibilty to apply to IMA is Graduation pass Age should be between 19 to 24 years |

Re: How can I join Indian Army after passing 12th in commerce stream Presently, you can try for a job in Army on the basis of 12th score. For this, you need to qualify NDA exam. Unmarried male candidates with in 16 ˝ and 19 years are eligible to attend this test. Graduates have the option to join Army by qualifying CDS exam. Qualifying CDS help you to join I.M.A or officers’ training academy. |
