Re: How to join Indian Air Force after passing 9th Hello, You cannot become an airforce officer directly after 9th class. To join Air Force as an Airman, you have to be at least 10+2 with PCM with at least 50% marks or diploma holder for group X and 10+2 in any stream for group Y. After and during 10+2 appearing with PCM you can apply for NDA to join defence as Officer. Thankyou |

To join Indian Air force you have to be appear in NDA (National Defense Academy) exam. For NDA exam candidate must have these eligibility: Candidate must have completed his 12th with science stream. Candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Bhutan, or a subject of Nepal. Candidate age will be above than 16.5 years but less than 19.5 years. Only unmarried candidate are eligible for the exam. Women candidates are not eligible for Indian Air force. |

Re: How to join Indian Air Force after passing 9th After 12th class you can appear for that. First you will have to give NDA written exam. Once you get through the written exam, you’ll be called for the SSB interview. Then to PABT test & medical test & you’ll have to go for training period as per your mainstream preference. Then you can work for the air force. |
