You need to complete the 12th standard for this exam. CPT stands for Common Professional Test. This exam is objective type of examination. This exam duration is 4 hours. And it is divided into two sessions with 2hours. Subjects Session I Section A : Fundamentals of Accounting Section B : Mercantile Laws Session II Section C : General Economics Section D : Quantitative Aptitude All the best............ |

CPT exams or Common Profiency tests are held in June and December each year Candidates who have appeared in class 12th exam or have passed class 12th exam can apply In the CPT exams questions are asked from the below sections: Fundamentals of accounting Mercantile LAWS General economics Quantitative Aptitude All the questions are asked in objective mode only Candidates scoring minimum 50% marks are declared as pass There are negative markings of .25 for each incorrect answer |

I am sorry to say you that after 10th not possible to give CPT examination because the educational qualification for CPT is 12th standard Exam Pattern The CPT (Common Proficiency Test) is an objective type examination of 4 hours duration divided into 2 sessions of 2 hours each. Each session consists of two subjects with a total marks of 100. The examination is a multiple choice examination with negative marking. To qualify at the CPT, a student has to obtain a total of 50% marks in all the papers together. Subjects Session I Section A : Fundamentals of Accounting Section B : Mercantile Laws Session II Section C : General Economics Section D : Quantitative Aptitude Procedure to Become an Chartered Accountant Pass CPT examination Register/Enroll for Integrated Professional Competence Course (IPCC) Complete 9 months of Study Course. Complete 100 hours of Information Technology Training (ITT). Complete Orientation Course (35 hours spread over one week). Pass Group I or both Groups of Integrated Professional Competence Examination (IPCE). Register as Articled Assistant for a period of 3 years. Pass Group II of IPCC if not already passed. Appear in Final Examination during last 6 months of 3 years of articled training. Pass both the Groups of Final examination. Get Final Examination Certificate. Complete remaining period of articled training, if applicable Complete Course on General Management and Communication Skill Enroll as a member of ICAI and designate as "Chartered Accountant" |
