My son had just completed 10th and hence will join 1st pu in Karnataka board or 11th in a cbse school. My question is can he write kcet for engineering after 12th? Since he will be a non-local , will it go against him in getting admission in a Bangalore based engineering college? |

Re: Procedure for a non karnataka student taking up CET or admitting into Bangalore Engineering colleges? my son will be giivng his CET,karnataka this time. he finished his schooling till std9 in New Delhi. then he did his 10th -12th in a cbsc school. i am his mother. idid my schooling and college in bangalore and i have study certificate from my high school for 3 years. my college authorities gave me study certificate of 5 years(two years of PU and 3years of degree).only my high school certificate bears the counter signature of educational officer. will these certificates be sufficient to submit for domicile status while counselling? kindly reply at the earliest. thankyou. |

You can get admission to Karmataka colleges either by applying for COMEDK or AIEEE So apply for both and there is some quota. Like 85 % for home state students and 15% for outside state students So work hard for both these entrance tests.. best of luck |
