Re: What is the maximum age criteria for UP CPMT exam? Dear Friend  UP CPMT stands for the Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre Medial Test.It is medical entrance exam held at state level. Here is the required criteria for the UP CPMT : 1.Academic qualification: >>You must have done your 10+2 from a recognized board with physics ,chemistry and biology as your main subjects . >>If you are appearing for it then also you can give the exam. After clearing this exam ,you will go for the bachelor's degree in medicine and surgery . 2.Age criteria : The minimum age limit for the exam is 17 years and the upper age limit for the candidates of different category is as below : General candidate :25 years OBC:28years SC/ST :30 years. 3.Candidates belonging to UP can only apply for the exam. The candidate who Qualified in Entrance Examination, you may eligible to choose any one of the Bachelor degree course like, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery / Bachelor of Dental Surgery/ Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery/ Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery/ Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery etc.... Only the candidate who satisfy the below criteria are eligible to apply for this Entrance Examination. Re: What is the maximum age criteria for UP CPMT exam? UP CPMT stands for Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test. The entrance examination is conducted every year for admission into Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Unani programs offered by various Institutions across the state at under graduate level. Eligibility Criteria for UPCPMT 2012 You should have completed 10+2 with Biology, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or any other elective subject with English. You must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with Biology, Chemistry and Physics with a practical test and English as a compulsory subject. You must have passed pre-professional/pre-medical examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology after passing 10+2. You must have passed first year of the three years degree course from a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test and you should have passed 10+2 with English. You must have passed B.Sc. examination with two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology). Thanks... |

Re: What is the maximum age criteria for UP CPMT exam? Dear Friend, The Maximum age criteria for UP CPMT Exam depends upon the category you belong. For General Category : 25 years. For SC/ST Category : 30 years. For OBC Category : 28 years. So , now you can see that if your age is above 17 years and below the maximum age as per your category , then you are eligible for the same. This is the information i have to the best of my knowledge regarding your query. Hope the information will help you to the extent you want. |
