Getting 40 out of 100 for this GATE exam is not at all bad and there is also a chance that you may get into IITs and NITs. This year(2011) paper of ece was tough than previous year question, so cut-off should be low(previous year it was 25). if you are getting 40 marks then your rank should lie under 1000. you can definitely get good nits and can also take admission in newly formed iits. |
