Re: Jobs in Telecom, Steel and Power plant companies after B.E. in Electronics and Communication i have done my B.Tech in EC in 2008...after that i got placed in a telecom company HUAWEI telecommunication....i worked there only 6 months then i cleared my ntpc Executive Trainee exam and got placed in a joint venture plant of NTPC and GAIL in ratnagiri...package is twice i got in my previous job huawei....but i am not getting intrest in power sector as its not my core job....i am in power sector from jan 2009 to present time.....i think my previous job was much better as i was intrested in telecom sector and that was my core job....so what should do be there in power plant or try to switch my job to some electronics and communication core sector... manu... |

Re: Jobs in Telecom, Steel and Power plant companies after B.E. in Electronics and Communication As we all know that the Telecom sector is on the rise and it is one of the important sector today.There are always lots of oppotunities in the telecom sector,you can join as a BTS/RF engineer.Some of the reputed companies are Ericsion,ZTE,etc..... Nokia -Siemens too provides opportunities for ECE branch.But the best sector which will be on the rise in future is Power sector.There is tremendous career growth in this sector.Though there is no such dept. for ECE,but it is included in the Electrical & Instrumentation dept. And the same applies even for the Steel sector. But i would suggest you to try for the Power Plants.If you are a fresher then ofcourse you would not get handsome package initially but don't worry about that.Once you gain experience in this field,then there will be no looking back for you. CHHATTISGARH is becoming a hub for the power plants,there are lots of power plants over there.If you can go and try out there then you might get some positive response but remember most of these power plants companies recruit through placement agencies,so you might have to consult these agencies. |

For JOB apply in following industries / organisation: - 1. BSBL 2. MTNL 3. VSNL 4. SAIL 5. NTPC 6. BHEL 7. ONGC 8. IOCL 9. HPCL 10. BPCL .......... etc. NOTE: - All are government JOBS. Eligibility for all government JOBS exam are as follows: - 1. Pass B.E. or B.Tech or equivalent degree in Electronics & Communication Engg. or Mechanical Engg. or Computer Science Engg. or Chemical Engg. or Electrical Engg. with a minimum of 65% aggregate marks from a recognized Institute / University. 2. Generally, all the steel and power plant needs engineers with specialization in instrumentation, or electrical and electronics. So the best way is to get into any of the NPTI institiute which will definiteli and surely place u into the power sector. Another way is to wait for the announcement of post of GET (GRADUATE ENGINEER TRAINEE) IN JINDAL STEEL AND POWER, RELIANCE POWER, VEDANTA, TATA STEEL, ETC. In steel and power plant, jobs like GET in EIL, BHEL, SAIL, GAIL, ECIL, KIOCL are available for ECE freshers. |

Re: Jobs in Telecom, Steel and Power plant companies after B.E. in Electronics and Communication hi friend, hey telecom, steel and power plant companies mostly will recuired based on your BE marks and some certification like inplant training, workshop.. if you consult some agencies also they will see these your certification. if you haivng these certificates with above 80% marks with some good skill. definitly they will recuire you even in half campus. so try that all the best....soon you will get job |
