Eligibility of Sub Inspector: Candidate should be citizen of India. Candidate should complete the Graduation from any recognized University. No percentage required for this exam. Your age limit should be between 21 to 25 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable for other categories. 3 years for OBC. 5 years for SC\ST. Physical Standards: HEIGHT :- For men - 165 cms For women - 150 cms CHEST:- For men - 78 cms to 82 cms For women - no such requirement All the best........ |

Dear Friend, The Qualifications Required for Sub Inspector are : * You must have passed graduation in any discipline from any recognized college/university. * Your age must lie in between 20-28 years. * There is also a relaxation in upper age of 3 years for those belonging to OBC category and of 5 years for those belonging to SC/ST Category. * Nationality : Indian * You must be physically fit. Eligibility Criteria : **Candidates having a degree from any recognized university can apply for the post of sub-inspector of police. Age Criteria: **3 years for OBC reserved category candidates. **5 years for candidates who have achieved distinction in sports. **5 years for SC/ST reserved category candidates. Physical Requirements : **A initial 5 kilometer run which should be completed in 25 minutes (* impossible without practice) **A long jump in which a candidate should jump a distance of 3.80 meters (* easy) **A 100 meter sprint which should be completed in 15 seconds. (* easy) **An 800 meter run which should be completed in 170seconds (* easy). **A high jump in which a jump of 1.2 meters is required (* practice) and **A shot put throw which should be thrown a distance of 5.60 meters (* practice makes it easy) ** Selection Process: **Through a series of physical ability tests followed by a written test. exam pattern: **English (Descriptive) **Arithmetic **test of reasoning **Mental ability. **General studies all the best....... |

Re: What is the qualification for sub inspector? The qualification needed and the other criterion to be satisfied for sub-inspector post are- Citizenship-You should have Indian citizenship. Age Limit-You age should be between 20 to 25 years. Age Relaxation available for reserved categories- 3 years for OBC reserved category candidates. 5 years for SC/ST reserved category candidates. 5 years for candidates who have achieved distinction in sports. Education Qualification- You should have a bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognized university. There is no percentage cut-off as such. Physical Standards- minimum height needed-170cms required chest size is 81cms before expansion and minimum 85cms after full expansion. good luck |
