Re: How to do distance MCA from Sikkim Manipal University after completing BSc IT from Mumbai University? I want to to do Red Hat Linux Course but I don't have moany to do the certification. Due to money problem, I am doing MCA in distance education. I am in final sem of MCA. I have BCA regular with 71%. So I want a confirmation, if I do Red Hat Linux course then can I get a job in India with a good salary? Please give me a complete solution as I have limited money for any course to get a job in IT industry. I am working in a BPO just to do my MCA and for any good course, so you can understand the value of money for me and obviously a good career in IT industry. Please do give me an advice. As far as mode of study is concerned it is always recommended for the students to pursue any Education through regular mode. However, if one is willing to pursue Higher Education along with Jobs then one can definitely look for Distance mode. The Sikkim Manipal University is a recognized by the University Grant Commission [UGC]and Distance Education Council [DEC]. Hence, the University is recognized. As you have already mentioned that you are eligible for direct admission to the third semester through lateral entry since you are a B.Sc [IT] Graduate, you can definitely look to pursue through the University.
