HI For general awareness and daily happenings you may watch TV and read news paper. make sure you watch both daily news and business news Following are some of the books which you would find useful 1. pratiyogita darpan- monthly. 2. competition success review- monthly. 3. unique general studies. 4. general knowledge- arihant publication. 5. general knowledge by tarun goyal. 6. Current Affairs 7. India Today Apart from these, you should also refer Manoroma, it is a good enclyclopedia for general knowledge. It is a yearly book and published once every year.
