Re: How much percentage is required in 12th to get a seat in top engineering colleges with CSE stream? One cannot get a seat in engineering colleges with 12th pecentage alone. For getting an admission into most of the top colleges in india, you require a minimum of 70% in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Maths and an individual percentage of 60% in each of Physics, Chemistry and Maths.But the above is only an eligibility condition and does not guarantee you a seat in CSE in engineering. For an engineering seat in a top college, you have to write its entrance exam and you will be given a seat in the college solely based on your rank and marks in the entrance exam and your 12th percentage makes no difference here. Since you want a seat in CSE, you will have to score as much as possible and get one of the top ranks, as CSE is the most sought after branch in India in 99% of the colleges and there is a huge demand and competition for it.So work hard for it.
