Several entry level positions in various banks are -Clerical positions -Probationary Officers The selection procedure for both the positions will involve Written Exam Interview Once you have gone through the written test, you will be called for Interview. In the Interview, the various kind of questions that will be asked for you are -Self Introduction -Reason for choosing Banking career -especially for you - reason for changing from life sciences to banking sector -banking related terminology -recent updates happened in banking sector -your academic achievements -if at all you have included any projects, questions related to projects They are going to mainly check your confidence levels and the way how you communicate the things. If you are strong enough in explaining your thoughts, that is more than enough to get through the Interview. Have good preparation in the above mentioned areas and crack it. Wish you all the best. |

Why you want to enter in Banking Sector? Who is Governor of RBI? What was the name of first bank established in India? Do you support privatization of banks and why? What is the difference in Current account and Savings accounts? What is Mutual Fund? What are differences in Private Bank and Public Bank? What is Bank Rate? Do you have any question for us? Remember that in the interview board all the interviewers know who you are.They want to know about your frame of mind than your academic results. So prepare an answer in the above format.
