NDA stands for National Defence Academy. Every year UPSC will conduct NDA Exam twice a year to recruit the candidates into various defence services like
Army wing
Navy wing
Air Force wing

The complete selection procedure would involve
NDA Exam
Interview
Medical Test

Here is the eligibility criteria that is required for the candidates to apply for this exam

One should have completed 12th class with any of the stream to apply for Army wing.

But to apply for Navy and Air Force wings, the candidates should have completed 12th class with Mathematics and Physics subjects.

Only unmarried male candidates can take this exam.

Female candidates are not eligible to apply for this exam.

The candidate should be a citizen of India to apply for this exam.

Required age will be 16 1/2 years to 19 years. There is no relaxation in upper age limit for the candidates of any category.

To the best of my knowledge,
Diploma candidates are not eligible to apply for NDA Exam.

But you don't need to worry about this.

If you complete Graduation after Diploma, then you can make your entry into Defence services by cracking CDS Exam.

Wish you all the best.
