Re: Minimum qualification for Boiler Operating engineer? The minimum educational qualification required to become a Boiler Operating Engineer in India is a diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering. This diploma program should be recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) or the State Board of Technical Education. In addition to the educational qualification, the Boiler Operation Engineers' eligibility criteria also require candidates to possess a certificate of proficiency as a Boiler Operation Engineer, issued by the Directorate of Boilers in their respective states. |

Re: Minimum qualification for Boiler Operating engineer? Boiler OperationEngineer (BOE) can be done in institutes and colleges. This course can be studied as full time or part time course. To study BOE the candidate should clear an entrance exam to get admission in various colleges. The entrance exam for BOE is conducted twice every year by the directorate of BOE. The full details about the eligibility requirements are given below. Eligibility criteria: - The candidate should complete their graduation/ diploma level degree in mechanical/ electrical/ chemical/ power plant/ production/ instrumentation engineering. - Experience in related field for 1-5 years. - The age limit should not be more than 23 years. You need to apply for the exam by filling the application form and pay the fees 1500. The fee structure may vary based on the reservation category.
