Re: What is the question pattern and syllabus of section engineer hello dear, RRB Sr.Section Engineer Exam Syllabus:- * General Awareness * Arithmetic * General Intelligence * Reasoning * Technical Ability Age Limit :- * Candidates age must have between 18-33 years (Age relaxation extended as per Govt.rules) Educational Qualification :- * Candidates must have qualified in the B.Tech or its equivalent from any recognized universities/ colleges. RRB Senior Section Engineer Exam Syllabus 2015:- RRB senior section engineer paper will be objective Type Multiple Choice Question. Pattern of exam will be as follows – * In exam will be total 150 Questions. * Duration of exam is 2 Hours. * Negative Marking will be 1/3 Marks in the written exam. * 90 Questions will be asked from Technical Ability & General Science. * 60 Questions will be from General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence and Reasoning. all the best thank you |

Part I General Awareness Science and Technology, Economy, Important Awards & Honors, Current national and international Events, Computer Knowledge, Banking Knowledge, Commissions, Appointments, Resignations, Sport, prominent personalities and Polity. Part II Aptitude Arithmetic, Number Systems Square Roots Cube Roots Fractions and Decimals H.C.F. and L.C.M. Simplification Variation Chain Rule Ratio and Proportion Average Logarithms. Part III General Intelligence Analogies, Classification, Ranking Test, Problem Solving, Decision Making, Blood Relation, Arithmetical reasoning and figural classification, Number Series, non-verbal series, Coding and Decoding, Statement and Conclusion, Syllogism , Semantic Series, Number , Critical thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Social Intelligence, Other sub-topics, if any. In Non Verbal reasoning Questions may come on hole/pattern -folding & un-folding, Figural Pattern - folding and completion, Embedded Figures Part IV Reasoning VERBAL Number Series Alphabet Series Test of Direction Sense Coding-Decoding Number Ranking Arithmetical Reasoning Problem on Age Calculation Blood Relations Analogy Decision Making etc. NON-VERBAL Non Verbal Series Mirror Images Grouping Identical Figures |

Syllabus and marks distribution for each subject in the following. Technical Ability and General Science (90 questions) General Awareness/Arithmetic/General Intelligence(60 questions) Negative mark will be there 1/3rd negative mark. |

Re: What is the question pattern and syllabus of section engineer Question pattern for section engineer exam in Indian Railway There shall be negative mark in written examinations and marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer @1/3 of the allotted marks for each question. Please find the syllabus for the same in the below attachment. |
