Basic electrical and electronics by BL Thereja.
Mathematics an engineering approach.
Wave mechanic.
Differential mathematics.
Complex geometry.
Computer programming like c,c++.
Digital and analog concepts.
Network analysis basics.
Semiconductors.
Signal and system.

You should have good knowledge in the following sectors:-

Micro controllers
Micro processors
VLSI
Embedded coding
Network analysis
Circuit design
C/CPP

The following are basics to be covered:
Waves and Particles.
Microprocessors and properties.
Micro-controllers and programming.
Electronics and communication.
Satellite technology
Programming in C.

There can be other subjects as well depending on your specialization like VLSI, embedded systems, robotics etc.
