Re: Please suggest some books to prepare for GATE Exam If you would had mentioned your branch, then it would have been much easier to recommend some books.Anyway you can follow the likes G.K.Publishers. But remember whatever book you are following,always follow the standard books.Try to complete the full syllabus.Try preparing notes after each topic and chapter even though it may take some extra time but it will help you for revisions.Practice the numerical problems with formulas on your finger tips. you can take help from some of the previous GATE papers which you can get in the market or download for free via internet (onestopgate.com). You can take Online Practice tests which will help you a lot. There is no time limit to appear for GATE exams,the GATE sores are valid for 2 years.

Re: Please suggest some books to prepare for GATE Exam i am aware of that you want to prepare for gate. Gate prepration can be done with final year now. well books by G.k publisher are good but in my opinion you should study from the notes of made easy they are very useful in cracking gate. |

Re: Please suggest some books to prepare for GATE Exam if you want to practice the objectives asked in gate, then you can go for GATE by G.K.Publishers and also GATE by R.K.Kanodia... but for through out knowledge of the subject you should refer to the books which you are refering in your B.E/B.tech or relevent branch.... |

Here I ll suggest you a book called "GATE" by RK Kanodia[/B][/B]. In this book, they provide all the previous solve paper and explain in details of different kinds of problem. There is no age limit for appearing GATE.as you did not mention your stream of engineering so I suggest you first read your text care fully.from 3rd,4th and present semester subjects are more important for gate.read them and try to solve MCQ from different books. good luck. |
