Re: Eligibility to join NDA-Indian Army for 17 years old candidate? Yes, you are eligible to apply NDLA exam at the age of 17 years. Only unmarried Male candidate they should completed 10+2 exam of a recognized School or Board are eligible to apply this exam. NDA stands for National Defence Academy. NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice time in a year for three wings. Eligibility to join NDA-Indian Army :- Candidate should be an Indian citizen. Candidate must have completed 10+2 exam of a recognized School or Board and studying in the final year of 12th examination may also eligible to apply for Army wings. Age limit:- Age should be between 16.5 years to 19.5 years. There is No age relaxation for reserved categories in this exam. |

Yes you are eligible for NDA exams on the basis of age requirement for this examination as the age limit for this examination is 16.5 years to 19 years and you are 17 years old . But other than this few more basic criteria are needed to be fulfilled by you for eligibility in this examination which are mentioned below :- -->> You must have done your 12th/equivalent degree course with Physics , Chemistry and Mathematics as your main subjects from a recognized school/college .Final year students are also eligible . -->> Also you must be as unmarried male candidate . Please note that # NDA stands for National Defence Academy # UPSC is an autonomous body which has the sole responsibility to conduct the NDA Examination twice in a year. # Required age limit: * Minimum age must be 16.5 years * Maximum age must be 19 years. (Please note that candidate must be below 19 years at the time of joining National Defence Academy (NDA) after cracking NDA Examination not at the time of applying to NDA Examination) # Required educational qualification: * Must be intermediate. * candidate studying in 10+2 are also eligible. * No need of any fixed marks. * Candidate with any stream/subjects are eligible for NDA Examination # Weightage of written examination * Mathematics (300 marks) * English Language (200 marks) * General Studies (400 marks) # Candidate selected/shortlisted from the Written Examination are invited for SSB Interview in order to judge the intellectual level, personality, leadership quality, psychological test, picture test etc. |

Re: Eligibility to join NDA-Indian Army for 17 years old candidate? Yes, you can apply for NDA exam being 17 years old. NDA stands for National Defence Academy. NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice a year in the months of April and September. Eligibility Criteria : For Indian Army : Candidate must complete his 12th from recognised board. For Indian Navy and Air Force : Candidate must pass his 12th class with physics and Mathematics as main subjects from any recognised Board. Age Criteria : Age of candidate must be from 16-1/2 - 19 Years. Nationality : Candidate must be citizen of India. Marital Status and Sex : Candidate must be unmarried male. Selection Procedure : Written Exam : First of all candidate have to pass written exam. Written exam consists of two papers. Mathematics of 300 marks. General Ability Test of 600 Marks. Questions will be objective type. SSB Interview : After passing 12th class written exam candidate will be called for SSB Interview. After passing SSB Interview candiadte have to pass medical test. Re: Eligibility to join NDA-Indian Army for 17 years old candidate? To join the Indian army through the NDA it can be the best career for you to apply for this exam after passing the 12th. If you qualify the exam you can apply for Indian army, Indian navy, Indian air-Force. Eligibility criteria for this is_ 1. Candidate should passed 12th in any stream. 2. Candidate should be Indian 3. A subject of Nepal or Bhutan can also apply. 4. Tibetan refugee comes in India before January 1962 can also apply. 5. Only unmarried male candidates can apply. 6. For Army any candidate passed 12th in any stream can apply. 7. For Air Force and Naval force only the candidate passed in 12th with Math and physics can apply. 8. Candidate should be physical fit and having eye side 6/6. 9. Candidate should not be physical handicap. 10. Candidate should not above the 19 years old. Re: Eligibility to join NDA-Indian Army for 17 years old candidate? AS PER YOUR STATEMENT YOU ARE ELIGIBLE TO JOIN IN INDIAN ARMY WING through UPSC conducted NDA Entrance examination. NDA Eligibility:- NDA entrance examination is conducted by UPSC 2 times in a year. 1.A 12th passed candidate from the recognized board having any Arts/Commerce/Science group can apply for Army Wing. 2.The age of the candidate must be within 16.5 years to 19 years. 3.An Indian unmarried male can write this NDA Entrance Examination. 3.There is no age relaxation. 4.Candidates eyesight must be normal free from color blindness. These are the main features to sit for the NDA entrance exam having any subjects like arts/commerce/science.
