SSC has published central Police Organization (CPO) 2015 examination notification for recruitment of Sub Inspector and Assistant Sub Inspector -2015. Eligible Indians are required to fill two parts of Online registration before 25th April 2015.(Part-i) and 28th April Part-ii Education Qualification : Bachelor degree Age Limit : 20-25 years for general category 20- 28 years for OBC category 20-30 years for SC/ST category > > So if you belong to OBC/SC/ST category then only you are eligible to sit for CPO exam. Being General category i am sorry to sat you cannot sit for CPO exam as the maximum age limit is 25 years . |

Yes, You can apply for the CPO (Central police organization) exam only if you belong to SC/ST because you have just crossed the 28 which is maximum age limit for OBC class. The exam which is conducted by the SSC( Staff selection commission) of India. Where candidates are selected for the post of S.I. in various departments as-: Delhi police I.T.B.P. Police department B.S.F. Police department C.I.S.F. Police department Narcotic Police Department Eligibility criteria is- Candidate should be a graduate from a recognized University. Candidate should be indian Candidate should be physically fit. Should be having eye sight of 4/4 Should be age fall in age llimit upto 20-25 years Age relaxation for the OBC is 3 years and for the SC/ST is 5 years. Thank you. |

CPO exam is conducted by SSC for Recruitment of Sub Inspectors (SI) and Assistant Sub Inspectors (ASI). Educational Qualification - Candidate should be completed any Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University. Age limit - Age should be between 20 to 25 Years as on 1st January 2015. Age Relaxation - 5 Years for SC/ST, 3 Years for OBC. |
