AMIE-----The Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers is a professional certification given by Institution of Engineers.

The maximum number of papers a candidate can appear at a time is----
  • Section A : 4 papers
  • Section B : 4 papers

Exam Fee---
  • Exam fee is Rs. 2000/-.
  • Overseas exam fee is $ 150.

  • Fundamentals of Design and Manufacturing
  • Material Science and Engineering
  • Computing and Informatics
  • Society and Environment
  • Mechanical Science
  • Engineering Physics and Chemistry

AMIE stands for Associate Member of Institution of Engineers.
It is engineering degree recognized by all State Governments, Central Government, UPSC and it is equivalent to BE and B.Tech.

Eligibility :

Candidate must have completed his/her 12th class with Physics, Chemistry and Maths with minimum 45% marks form any recognised board or 3 year polytechnic diploma.

Duration : There is no fixed completion time, normally 6 years are available for completing the course.

EXAMINATION : AIME exam are conducted in first week of June and December every year.
Student can appear 4 subject at a time.

Examination FEE : Rs.1200/- per appearance.

Documents required for admission :
  • Two passport size photographs
  • Attested copy of Matriculation/School leaving certificate
  • Attested copy of 12th /HSC certificate / Diploma
  • Demand draft of Rs. 3565/- drawn in favour of ‘Institution of Engineers (India)’, Payable at Kolkata, don't forget to write your name and address in back side of DD.

After you send the application form, it will take aroung 3 months for correspondence.

sir I have diploma in electrical engineering from a govrn college after completing course l woul like to pursue b.tech in respected trade from cover collage in Delhi or near about it so how I can apply tell me the right path sir

EXAMINATION DATES
The Winter 2012 Examinations of IEI shall be conducted in 65 examination centres both in India and abroad during Dec 01 - 7, 2012.


EXAM FORM FILLING DATES for Winter 2012 Examinations :August 21, 2012 to September 21, 2012.
