Re: TANCET MCA Exam Details The TANCET ENTRANCE Exams is conducted by Anna University for the candidates who are willing to do MBA, MCA, ME, MTech courses. If you are interested to apply for TANCET exams for MCA, then firstly fill the form, when they are come. The detail regarding application form for 2011 was updated in the official websites of anna university. So, please check the official websites for getting updates regarding application forms. EXAM PATTERN - The duration of this exams is 2 hr. The test is conducted for the candidates who are willing to do MBA, MCA, ME, MTech courses. While evaluating the answers, one mark is awarded for each correct answer and 1/3 mark is deducted for each wrong answer |

Availability of Application forms: The form can also be obtained by post by sending a Demand Draft along with the request for form. Candidates can also download the form online through the website www.annauniv.edu. There will be a common form for all the programmes and candidates who want to appear for more than one programme has to pay additional examination fees for every programme The completed application (registered through Internet) should reach The Secretary, TANCET, Centre for Entrance Examinations, Anna University Chennai, Chennai 600 025 on or before 26.04.2010, by 5.30 p.m. The Applications received after the due date and time will not be considered at any cost. Re: TANCET MCA Exam Details Anna university will conduct the 2011 edition of the TANCET (Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test). This exam is for giving admissions into MBA/MCA/M.E./M.Tech/M.Arch/M,Plan programs for the candidates who are aspiring to join. For the academic year 2011, TANCET exam notification has not been released yet. Hope it is going to be released in the month of April,2011 at any time. And the may be conducted at the end of May or beginning of June,2011. Once the notification announced, you can apply for the exam both in online and offline mode. TANCET EXAM PATTERN FOR MCA Duration of the Test : 2 HOURS The question paper will have the following sections: -> Quantitative Ability -> Analytical reasoning -> Logical reasoning -> Computer awareness A few questions may also be there on verbal activity, basic science etc. The question paper will have 100 objective type questions. Each question will have four alternate answers. Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark and 1/4 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. Multiple shadings will be considered as wrong answer and 1/4 mark will be deducted. Marks will not be deducted for the questions left unanswered. Attached some of the previous model question papers for TANCET-MCA in this post.. kindly check it over... hope it helps for your preparation... All the Best..
