New pattern for UP SI main exam the very first exam wil be of physical exam in which height - 168 cms minimum, chest - 79 cms minimum normally & 89 cms after stretching, then after a preliminary written exam will be conducted - general knowledge 100 marks numerical test 50 marks reasoning test 50 marks only those candidate who will obtain 50 % marks in written will be eligible for further process. 18 times of 3rd round will be off final physical test... in which a race of 10 Kms will be conduct which have to be completed within 60 minutes... after that 4th round will be of main written exam which will be of 400 marks... 1. general hindi 75 marks hindi essay 25 marks 2. constitution (objective type) 100 marks 3.
