Re: How may I get answer of the stated G.K. problem? In USA there is no post called as Finance Minister. In USA Secretary of the Treasury is known as Finance Minister. Current Secretary of Treasury is Mr.Jacob Lew. He is the 76th Person selected as Secretary of the Treasury Since Independence. |

In United States of America the term finance minister refers to Secretary of the Treasury The present Secretary of the Treasury of USA who is also the 76th Secretary of the Treasury is Jack Lew . However the same function just like finance minister of India is performed by the Secretary of Treasury of the United States America. He/She is the head of United State Department of Treasury. The main concern of this secretary is about finance and monetary matters. Secretary of Treasury is also member of President's cabinet.  Jacob Joseph Lew is the present and 76th secretary of the Treasury of United States of America. He is serving as this designation from the year 2013. But the same function is handled by Secretary of Treasury of United State of America. The present Secretary of Treasury of USA is Jacob Lew. He is the 76th person to be appointed to this portfolio in USA. |

Lew was born in new york city.The secretary of the treasury is a member of the President's Cabinet and the head of the united states department of the treasury. |

Lew was confirmed as Secretary of Treasury by United States Senate. |
