Yes , you are eligible to apply for income tax department so all you have to apply for the SSC exam that is conducted every year.
For this exam one have to full fill these criteria :
Candidate must have graduate degree in any discipline .
He/she must attained the age of 21 year and not more than 30 as per notification of the exam.
SSC stand for staff selection recruitment that is conducted by ministry of human resource department in Indian govt.

So for becoming income tax officer one should have to apply for the SCC exam that is cgle that is combined graduate level exam .and also scle senior secondary level exam.
In cgle one after this get the post of officer where in scale one get the post of the post assistant or clerk postion in the department of various government sector.

As you are from bba background you are also eligible for this exam so all you have to do go for the official site for upcoming notification.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for the Income Tax examination.

Staff Selection of Commission (SSC) conducts this exam every year for those aspirants who want to become an Income Tax Officer.

Generally, candidates with bachelor degree in hand (any discipline) are eligible to sit for this examination. However, those candidates are also eligible, who are appearing for their final exam or waiting for final result.

As you have completed your BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) then, you can surely apply for this exam.

Exam Pattern:

>> Preliminary exam
General awareness & General arithmetic = 100 marks (2 hours).

General intelligence = 100 marks (2 hours).

>> Main Exam
General studies,

Arithmetic,

English,

Language,

Communication skills and

Writing

Total marks for main examination would be 800 marks.

Yes, BBA candidates are eligible for Income Tax departments but you should qualify in SSC CGL exam.

To become an Income Tax Officer, you should qualify in SSC CGL exam.

This examination is conducted for recruitment of various positions like Inspector of Income Tax/ Central Excise / Prevention Officer / Examiner / Assistant Enforcement Officer / Divisional Account / Sub- Inspector / Junior Account / Sub inspector in CBI / Statistical Investigator Gr.II.

Minimum qualification required to apply for this examination is completing a degree course from a recognized Institution.

Your age should be in between 21 to 27 years.

Age relaxation-

Upper age relaxation for OBC is upto 3 years.
For SC/ ST , it is upto 5 years.
For PWD it is upto 10 years.
