If the marks or percentage is less than 60% cant we able to take admission in diploma or degree in journalism???

yes, you can become a Journalist after completing 12th class in AP.

To become a journalist one has to pass any one of the following

B.A( Hons ) Journalism (News)
B.A( Hons ) Journalism (broadcast)
B.A( Hons )Journalism (Multimedia)
Diploma in Journalism
B.Sc. in Journalism
P.G. in Journalism


The procedure to become a journalist are following:-

- The Eligibility criteria to become a Journalist is that you should be 12th pass in any stream from a recognized university.

- The candidate must have scored at least 60% marks in aggregate in the 12th class to join any good college.

-The candidate must have good communication skills and linguistic skills and writing skills and listening skills.

-The Entrance exam of various journalism institutes usually held in the month from May - July every year consists of a written test followed by Group discussions and Interview.

-The candidate should have good command over current affairs.

i completed 10th class and i discontinued my studies in inter bt i want to do journalism am i elgible r not bt i will do degree in distance education

There are various courses related to Journalism which you can do after completing 12th class.These courses are :
  • B.sc in Mass Communication.
  • Bachelor degree in Journalism.
  • B.sc in Print,Web,Broadcast and Multimedia.
Eligibility requirements :-

Educational Qualification :
  • You should be pass out in Inter/12th class from recognized board/university.
  • For Bachelor degree you can have any discipline in 12th class but for B.sc course you should have Mathematics in 12th class.
  • English should be one of the main subject in Inter level.
Marks required :
  • Minimum marks required to take admission in the above listed courses is 60%.
Selection Process :

  • State Government Information Services.
  • To Various FM stations.
  • As a reporter in News Agency.

To Take admission in Journalism courses you will have to fill the Admission Application form of the particular college in which you are interested to take admission and after that you will have to appear for the Entrance test.If you will get pass in the entrance test then you can take admission for further studies.

journalist course is very much in demand, as it ia a new course introduced in many colleges , the seats go full for admission, from this we can understand that how much it is in demand

elligibility for journalist :

1.one must have passed 12th and can apply for diploma course for journalist

2.students can pursue graduation from different colleges in journalism course

colleges which have journalism coursea are :

b.r ambedkar, delhi university
hindu college, delhi university

journalism course is in most of the colleges of du, jnu

the student must have style of reporting, reporting techniques

the students have to go for a practical training to become a professional reporter

Step Involve to become Journalist:-


## First of a candidate should have to completed their 12th Std. and then they have to take admission in the Diploma Course for Journalist which is Provided by the Different Universities.....

## A candidate after completing their Graduation degree also can apply for Diploma course or Post Graduation course for Mass Communication.....

## A candidate must have to know about the Style of in Reporting, About Peragraphing, Writing Techniques, To lead etc.....

## Then you have to go for the Practical Training through joining any News paper, News Channel.....

I am a 22 year old girl and a college dropout. I want to complete my graduation degree. I need help on finding an easy course as I m not good in studies and if there is any mode to do it in fast track. I cant waste many years and dont want tk spend a lot now. Please help.
