The various functions of management is given as below:

1. Planning.

2. Organising.

3. Staffing

4. Directing

5. Controlling.

The scientific principles of management was given by F.W Taylor. The main priniciples of scientific management was based on the fact that we should understand and ask questions like how when and why not accept facts merely what is stated.

The output and result should be obtained by cooperation of all not individuals.

Features:

Scientific Management increased the efficiency of workers by cutting down unwanted motions. It was a scientific and systematics approach to work with the help of set of rules.

Management is the backbone of any company. Its just like the electromagnet of Iron Man.
Taking about its main functions, Management-
1) formulates the price policy of a company's product and its marketing strategy
2) It forecast the demands and analyse market scenario
3) Production analysis
4) pricing decisions about the products and practices in the company
5) Tie the workers and the authorities together
6) manage the profit in resources and earnings

Now taking about the scientific principles of management, list has been formulated which explains this-
1) a calculated and a scientific approach towards decisions and policies
2) Routing, production, distribution and scheduling of the goods
3) Maintaining harmonious relations
4) Maintaining balance between the capital earned and invested
5) Inventory control

The most widely accepted various functions of Management is as below:

1. Planning:

It is one of the basic function of management that aims to determine what it is going to achieving in coming future. Planning means predicting in advance "what to do" "how to do" and "when to do".

2. Organising

It aims to develop a relationship between physics, human and financial resources to accomplish organizational goals.

3. Staffing:

This function of management includes:

>>Manpower Planning.

>>Training and development.

>>Performance Appraisal.

>>Promotion and transfers.

4. Directing:

It involves supervision, motivation, leadership and communication.

5. Controlling:

It includes measurement of actual performance, comparison with predefined standards, corrective action to achieve set goals.

Scientific Principles of Management: Given by F.W Taylor.

The important principles of Scientific Management:

1. Science, Not the rule of Thumb.

2. Harmony, not dicord.

3. Cooperation not individualism.

4. To achieve greatest efficiency and prosperity from development of each and every individual.

>>Improves Efficiency of workers.

>>Attempts to minimize wastages.
