Yes,you are eligible to sit for IAS/IPS exam.

UPSC conducts civil services exam every year for recruitment to various posts like IAS,IPS,IFS,IRS etc.

The eligibility criteria for IAS/IPS exam are following:-

- The candidate must be an Indian with valid residence certificate.

-The qualification required is graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.Final year appearing student can also apply for the exam.

-The age limit to apply for the exam is from 21 years to 30 years.However,there is age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidate and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

-The no. of attempts for the exam is four times for General category,seven times for OBC candidate and no limit for SC/ST candidate.

-The exam process involves three stages.These are

*Preliminary Examination

* Main Examination

*Personality Interview.

IPS(INDIAN POLICE SERVICE),IAS(INDIAN ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICE)both exams are conducted by the UPSC twice a year.

Am giving some information of IPS or IAS exam.

ELIGIBILITY:

Required qualification for these exams is graduation form a recognized university of india.

There is no need of marks in graduation level

Age limit for this exam is 21 to 30 years

Age relaxation for OBC candidates is 3 years

5 years for SC/ST candidates

Candidate should be a citizen of india

SELECTION PROCESS:

Preliminary exam

Main exam

Interview

Am giving as per my knowledge some of information about IPS and IAS.

IPS and IAS exam detials:-

Educational qualification:-

The candidate should be complete any graduation from a recognised university.

Final year appearing candidates can also be eligible.

**The candidate should be citizen of India.

Age criteria:-

For general candidates 21 years to 30years,

3years age relaxation for OBC

5Years age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

According to the eligibility criteria of UPSC Civil Services Examination Professional/Technical
qualification which are recognised as Professional/Technical degree shall be eligible for the
Civil Services Examination.

In this regard you can refer the reply of UPSC to ICAI which confirms that CA qualification
is well and good for Civil Services examination.

i am Chartered accountant, age 25 years old. i want to become a ips or ias officer.

so can i become or not

if not , so kindly suggest what i will do for public servant occupation
