Note that you are definitelt eligible for pursuing BCA degree. # Required educational eligibility: * 10+2 in any stream * Must have secured 55% marks # The admission process of BCA depends upon institute to institute. Some institute conducts an entrance exam and other offer admission on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying exam. # It is better to go for either MCA or MBA after successful completion of BCA. Note that MCA is good option after BCA. # Candidate may go for job in the various software companies like WIPRO, TCS, INFOSYS, Satyam etc. |

Eligibility criteria for BCA: You must have done your 10+2 from any stream from a recognized board. The percentage of marks should be at least 50%. Some of the institutes give admission to those candidates who have taken mathematics is 10+2 but it is not a compulsory criteria for BCA. So, yes you can join BCA course without having mathematics in higher secondary. Certain institutes conduct entrance test while certain give admission on the basis of percentage of marks in board exams. |

BCA stands for Bachelor's of Computer Application. The candidate should have completed 12th in any stream preferably Science stream with at least 50% marks with Mathematics as one of the subject of studies from a recognized Board. Your age shouldn't be bellow 17 years. |
