If you have done your bachelor's degree in any stream or discipline from a recognized university, you can apply for the Civil Services exam. The age limit is 21-30 years. The last date for submission of form is 12/06/2015. You can apply online for the exam at www.upsconline.nic.in after 16/05/2015. |

Eligibility criteria: ~~Bachelor's degree in any stream or discipline from a recognized university. ~~Final year candidates can also apply for the exam. Age limit: General candidates: 21-30 years. OBC candidates: 21-33 years. SC/ST candidates: 21-35 years. Examination Levels: ~~Preliminary exam. ~~Mains Examination. ~~Personal Interview. The last date for submission of online application for Civil Services exam 2015 is 12/06/2015. Online application at official website that is www.upsconline.nic.in will start from 16/05/2015. |

To join in as IPS officer, you need to apply for the civil services exam conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) and is held every year. You need to satisfy the eligibility standards in order to apply for the exam and they include:
