Yes, you are eligible for AIPMT exam being a student of Open School with 10+2 qualification.

AIPMT - ALL INDIA PRE MEDICAL TEST is an entrance exam for admission in to various medical and dental colleges of India.

One must pass 10+2 science with Biology as a subject with 50% marks for a recognised State/Central Board within the age group of 17 to 25 years of age which is relaxed for 5 years for SC/ST/PH candidate.

The AIPMT can be applied through on line the official web site is www.aipmt.nic.in

Eligibility Criteria for AIPMT -2012

Educational Qualification
- The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with subjects of Physics, chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks aggregate in Physics,Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology.
- For SC/ST and OBC candidates ,it is 40% instead of 50%.
- For general Physically Handicapped students ,the marks required is 45% ,and for SC?ST and OBC - PH it is 40%.
- The students who are appearing in class 12th this year are also eligible to appear.
AGE Criteria
- The candidate must complete the age of at least 17 years as on 31st december of the year of examination.
- The upper age limit for All india Pre-Medical/Pre-dental Entrance Examination is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of examination.
- There is a provision of age relaxation upto 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidate.

Since you meet the requirement , you are eligible for AIPMT Examination.

Yes, You are applicable for AIPMT exam if your school is recognized.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR AIPMT EXAM

Those candidate have completed 12th standard are eligible for AIPMT exam but your 12th standard subject must be Physics , Chemistry , Bio logy and English.

Also you must score 50% in all above mention subjects.

For SC/ST candidate this percentage is reduced to 40%.

AGE CRITERIA

Your age should be in between 17 - 26 years.

I have attached the the notification for AIPMT 2012 exam.

The fee structure for the application form is as follows:

For general candidates the fee is Rs. 700/-
For Sc/St Candidates the fee is Rs. 350/-
For OBC Candidates the fee is Rs. 700/-

AIPMT 2012 Important Dates/ Notification:-

Preliminary Examination:- 1st April, 2012 (Sunday)

Final AIPMT 2012 Exam Date: - 13th May, 2012 (Sunday)
