Re: What is the full form of ATKT?

ATKT stands for Allowed To Keep Term.

ATKT abbreviation used for allowing the candidate who failed in subject but are allowed to move to next term.
They don't have to wait for a semester or a year.

These candidates are allowed to attend college with regular students and have to again appear in the failed subjects again on the dates given by the university.

The failed subject will be carried along with the regular subjects as carried subject.

Re: What is the full form of ATKT?

HI

ATKT stands for "Allowed to Keep Terms"
Which means you can go to next year even if you fail in limited number of subjects.
and you can clear those subjects in your next year before going to third year.
Thus, university allow that person to keep terms.

All the best

Re: What is the full form of ATKT?

Hello friend,

The full form of A.T.K.T is Allowed To Keep Terms. This implies that if you pass fail in some subject in a particular term, you are allowed to go to the next semester or do the next course in line; without missing the term. However these subjects that you have failed in are carried forward as pending and you will have to pass them in the next semester.

Good luck

ATKT refers to Allowed To Keep Terms.
As per this system, candidates are allowed to move on to the next level of the course even without qualifying all the subjects in the previous year.
For example, if you are pursuing bachelors degree program and have failed in two subjects in your first year examination, you will be allowed to move on to IInd year but in order to be considered eligible for the IIIrd year, you will have to qualify the papers you failed while pursuing IInd year of your bachelor degree program and the same will apply for candidates moving from IInd to IIIrd year of the bachelor degree program.
However, in order to get this advantage, candidate must not fail in more then specific number of subjects prescribed by the Board or the University.
