Re: What is the eligibility for SI of Police? Could you please help me in finding out how to apply for the SI selection ? I am writing this because i have tried a Lott in finding the selection notifications in the Kerala police official web site but unfortunately i couldn't find the notification. Re: What is the eligibility for SI of Police? Yes, you are eligible to apply Sub Inspector exam as a Graduate with degree obtained from Outside of Kerala from a recognized University. Eligibility Criteria:- Candidates who are applying for SI posts should have citizenship of India. Educational Qualification: - Candidates should have passed graduation from any recognized university or college. Age Limit: - candidate’s age should be between 20 years to 25 years. Age relaxation for reserved category candidates is applicable as per government norms. |

Re: What is the eligibility for SI of Police? SI stands for Sub Inspector.The Central Goverment Exam conducted by UPSC every year. Candidates who want to apply must have a Bachelor Degree from a recognized university. Main thing was that candidate must be a citizen of India. Candidate age should be between 20 years to 25 years.Age Relaxation for OBC is 3 years and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.Candidate height should be 170 cm and chest should be between 81cm to 85cm.Candidates eye should be without glasses. The eligibility to become a SI of Police are as under:- -The candidate should have a citizenship of India. -The minimum qualification required to apply for the post is Bachelor's degree from a recognized university. -The selection process consists of written exam and physical test. -The written exam is for *General Knowledge *General Awareness *Reasoning Ability *Maths. -The physical standards requirement to apply for the Sub Inspector of Police are *Height- **For male candidate-165 cm. **For female candidate-150 cm. There is relaxation in height for hill men and tribals by 5 cm. *Chest: 76 cm with expansion (There will be no such requirement in case of female candidates) * Vision: Eye-sight (with or without glasses) **Distant vision: 6/6 in one and 6/9 in the other eye. **Near vision: 0.6 in one eye and 0.8 in other eye. |
