Congratulations on your SRMEEE rank. 7890 is a good rank to get you through SRM University on merit basis. However, you have not mentioned the stream that you're looking for. If you are looking at electronics and telecommunications or computer engineering, then you might not get a seat in the main campus(Kattankulathur). For other streams, you definitely have a good chance and i would suggest you to attend the councelling session for admission.
