Most courses have 12th as their eligibility. 5 year BA-LLB is a good option. But rather than distance education it is better to attend a regular program. Some distance education programs have Graduation in any disciplines as minimum eligibility.

No, you can not do law course in distance mode.

You are eligible for LLB course through CLAT exam.

CLAT is stands for Common Law Admission Test.

If you have completed 12th standard from any stream with above 50% marks from a recognized board then you are eligible to attend CLAT exam for admission in Under graduate course.

The candidate age should not be more than 20 Years for under graduate course.

Eligibility criteria for LLB , LL.B. is an undergraduate, or bachelor, degree in law
1). The minimum education qualification for studying the LL.B course is successful completion of 10+2 board examination (5 Year Course)
2). The applicant must score minimum 50 percent in his school examination or graduation for admission to bachelor of law course.

Law Course Eligibility Criteria

B.A. L.L.B: This is a 5-year course and the students can pursue this course after passing Class 12.

L.L.B.: This is a 3-year course, open for graduates.

L.L.M.: This is a postgraduate course in Law. The duration of the course is 2year. Students can pursue this course after completing B.A. L.L.B. or L.L.B.

In addition to LL.B. degree, many universities and institutes also offer other diploma courses in several disciplines of law, including Administrative Law, International Law, Labor Laws, Tax Laws and Corporate Laws.

Good oral and written communication skills

Ability to assimilate and analyze facts quickly
