Re: What is the RAS qualification criteria? RAS stands for Rajasthan Administrative Service. Candidate who want to apply must have a Graduation Degree from a recognized university.Students those are in Final year can also apply. Candidate age should be between 21 years to 35 years and for Goverment candidates age should be between 25 years to 45 Years. The candidates are selected on the basis of Preliminary Exam,Main Exam and Interview. Prelim Exam will consist of objective questions consist maximum 200 marks.In this exam candidates are allowed to write only 3 hours. Mains exam will consist of four papers which will be descriptive /analytical type.This paper is also of 3 hours. |

For apply RAS exam the minimum Education qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University. Eligibility criteria:- Candidate should be an Indian citizen. Candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University. Age should be between 21 years to 30 years for General category candidates. Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years And SC/ST category candidates 5 years. Selection procedure :- - Preliminary entrance exam - Main entrance exam - Interview |

Re: What is the RAS qualification criteria? Rajasthan Administrative Service exam is conducted by Rajasthan Public Service for various posts in the administration sector in Rajasthan. For the eligibilitypart, candidates need to hold a degree of bachelor in any discipline from a recognised university. The age limit is 21-35 years old and there is relaxation for reserved category candidates and ex- servicemen. RAS examination is a three-tier system similar to other to civil service examination conducted by the UPSC. According to the revised pattern of examination, there will be only one paper of 200 mark instead of two. Question will be covered from general science, general knowledge of India, Rajasthan and world. The Mains exam will have four papers of 800 marks. Candidates making upto the merit list will be called for interview. The exam will be conducted in April and applications are available online at http://rpsconline.rajasthan.gov.in |
